Families

We provide temporary, affordable housing to families together with support tailored to their needs so they can eventually move into permanent housing.

It is our priority to equip residents with the skills they need to live independently, to realise their potential, and to live a safe, healthy, and participative lifestyle.

Single homeless

We provide temporary housing and support for homeless people so they can regain their independence and get their lives back on track.

We provide tailored support to individuals with various levels of support needs, and equip them with the skills they need to realise their potential. We promote a safe, healthy, and participative lifestyle for all residents.

  • Who is this service for?

    Our services are aimed at single people with no children, this service aims to help homeless people to eventually move into a permanent home.

  • Type of accommodation

    Durban House in Coalville has eight rooms, each furnished with carpets, beds, a wardrobe, and access to communal facilities including a living room, chill-out room, kitchen, laundry facilities, shower room, and bathroom.

    Myst Lodge has 10 single rooms, each furnished with carpets, a bed, and a wardrobe. Communal facilities include a living room, games room, kitchen, laundry facilities, bathrooms, and internet access.

    Henson House has 11 self-contained flats for people who are homeless living within Blaby. We have a staff office onsite where staff are able to support with your needs with a person-centred approach. Referrals to this project are via Blaby District Council.

    Within Coalville we have a number of bed spaces within shared supported houses, where we deliver a support service to people who are homelessness. These bed spaces are allocated by North West Leicestershire District Council.

    Our Leicester Temporary Accommodation service offers supported accommodation to people who are single and homeless within Leicester city. This accommodation offer includes support from our team.

    Maidstone House in Leicester provides temporary accommodation to single adults and childless couples and people who have experienced extended periods of homelessness, with the provision of tailored support, to enable them to live independently.

    The Rough Sleepers Project offers accommodation with intensive support to people who have experienced long periods of sleeping rough.

Women who are pregnant or who have young children

We provide temporary, affordable housing to women who are pregnant or have young children. We also provide support tailored to the needs of individuals so they can eventually move into permanent housing.

  • Who is this service for?

    For women with low-medium level support needs who are either pregnant or who already have young children.

  • How do we help?

    We provide supported housing to women who are pregnant or with young children who are homeless or under threat of homelessness.

    Besides providing temporary housing, we provide a confidential needs assessment and support plan for each resident. We also offer help to access benefits, to work out budgets, learn basic living skills and parenting skills, and provide information on education, training options and housing.

  • Type of accommodation

    Liberty House has eight self-contained flats. Each flat is furnished with carpets, a cooker, a sofa, beds, a wardrobe, a fridge, and a chest of drawers.

    We have communal facilities, which include a living room, laundry facilities, and an on-site children’s nursery.

    Liberty House has a staff office where the team are able to offer person-centred support.

    Maple Park in Leicester has seven rooms with shared communal facilities and the scheme is fully furnished.

    Staff on site offer an intensive housing management service, looking at move on, tenancy support and community engagement. This scheme is for women with low to medium level support needs who are either pregnant or who already have young children.
