New emh website coming soon — designed around what matters to you
We’re pleased to share that we will be launching a new emh website on Tuesday 3 March. It has been designed and tested with residents to make sure it reflects what matters most to you — clear information, simple, quick navigation, and better ways to get support when you need it.
Your access won’t change. You will still visit this same web address, and the new version will appear automatically when it goes live.
What’s improving
Our new website will offer:
- Simpler navigation, making it easier and faster to find the information you need
- Improved accessibility, including clearer layouts, colours and content
- Better mobile performance
- A new platform that is more stable and secure
- Improvements to your MyHomeOnline account
- Stronger tools to support your independence
ReachDeck accessibility tool
We know accessibility matters. That’s why the new website includes ReachDeck, a free tool that helps you read, translate or listen to content.
Look for and tap the orange person icon in the bottom right corner to access:
- Text‑to‑speech (listen to page content)
- Reading support tools
- Translation into multiple languages
- Text magnification and simplification
- A reading ruler and focus tools
Once you tap the orange person icon, these features will appear across the top of the website in a ReachDeck-branded toolbar, as shown below.

Quick exit safety feature
Every page includes a ‘Quick exit’ button, which lets you leave the website instantly if you feel unsafe.
Our enhanced version goes further by also disabling the back button and replacing the previous tab, giving extra protection for anyone experiencing domestic abuse or safeguarding concerns.

We’re here to reassure and support you
We’ll share more updates as we approach launch. Once the new website is live, we will also open a resident feedback survey, so you can continue shaping how the site grows and improves.
Thank you for your ongoing feedback — it has helped build a website that puts your experience first.
