Individual care and support provided by experienced staff

Our nursing homes offer high-quality care in locations across Chesterfield. They are registered and inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

We're committed to enabling every resident to remain independent for as long as possible. We do this by working with you to cater for the specific needs of your relatives, giving you peace of mind that they are being cared for in the best way possible.

We have nurses on hand to help with daily activities like dressing, washing, eating and getting out and about. There are also registered, fully qualified nurses to dispense medication, change dressings and help with any medical issues. Our staff have regular training to ensure we provide the highest standards of care.

A nursing home ensures that your family member is safe, with round-the-clock care and equipment designed to prevent slips and falls.

Activities for nursing home residents

We offer a wide range of activities to suit people of all physical and mental abilities. Residents can enjoy baking, painting, flower arranging, pottery and various forms of exercise such as pilates, yoga and tai-chi. Residents can be involved as much or as little as they want - there's no pressure to take part if they don't want to.

Our staff are always available to help residents get involved in on-site activities and those taking place in the wider community.

"Amberley is a small but excellent nursing home. My sister has been cared for there for almost two years. The nursing care is excellent. All staff are very kind and caring towards the residents, going above and beyond, making an excellent team."

Testimonials from our residents' families

"Always superbly clean and fresh. Bright and cheerful environment with big windows in the lounge with a piano as well as a TV. The rooms are not ensuite, but a good size.
"The food is excellent. Entertainment and planned activities are now timetabled for all to see, including choir visits, pet therapy, a visiting pantomime, coffee mornings and some local outings. Warm family atmosphere.
"Priceless."
"My brother has been in this care home for just over a year, I was very apprehensive about him going to live there. I should not have worried; all the staff are good with all the service users who live there. I go any time of the day and it's never an issue.
"If I ever have any issues, any member of staff is happy to help sort things. I would recommend this care home to anyone."
"So grateful my sister is being looked after by this fabulous team of carers! They are all fabulous. She is very happy here I know.
"Thank you to all of you brilliant carers and the manager, thank you for getting a lovely one-to-one carer for her.
"You are all fabulous!"
"The service and staff have been amazing through a most difficult period for us and our family, they have made us all feel like part of a family.
"Nothing is too much trouble.
"My family member who is there at the minute has improved and is a lot happier after a most difficult time previously."
