Care Quality Commission
Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator of health and social care in England. It regulates all health and adult social care services in the public, private and voluntary sectors.

Local Government & Social Care Ombudsman
The Local Government & Social Care Ombudsman can investigate individual complaints about all adult social care providers (including councils, care homes and home care agencies) and some other public service organisations. If they decide to investigate, they look at whether organisations have made decisions the right way.
