We established our apprenticeship programme in 2012 to provide training and work opportunities for local young people.

Since then, it has flourished to include new recruits aged in their twenties and thirties, demonstrating that apprenticeships are not just an alternative to university for school leavers but are also available for people looking to switch to a more fulfilling career.

We recognise that the workforce of tomorrow depends on us identifying and investing in talent today, and the apprenticeship programme is a key part of our commitment.

We currently have apprenticeship opportunities that you can apply for via the government's dedicated website. See below for more information on each role and links to apply.

Apprenticeships

Since 2018, we’ve funded and supported more than 200 apprenticeships – helping people to build careers in every part of the group from building trades to business administration. The workforce of tomorrow depends on us identifying and investing in talent today. This video explains our approach to apprenticeships and what it’s like to earn while you learn with emh.

“We are growing our own staff. It’s satisfying to see people being employed after completing their apprenticeships.”
