The role

We are now seeking experienced Staff Nurse to provide high standards of care and support in a professional manner for service users.

Within this role you will be required to:

  • Work in line with care and support plans and be compliant with CQC, Derbyshire County Council and Clinical Commissioning Group Regulations and emh care and support policies and procedures. Adhere to all NMC guidelines and implement them within the home, to maintain and improve professional knowledge in line of revalidation.
  • Be responsible for the assessment of service user’s needs, development, implementation and evaluation of care plans as a named nurse.
  • Take lead of a shift prioritising yours and others' work loads, monitoring the progress of support workers through supervisions.
  • Work in a dignified person centred manner respecting service user’s rights.

Home Support Worker

Location – Working between Amberley Nursing Home, Calow, Chesterfield and Fisher Close, Grangewood, Chesterfield

The role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Home Support Worker to join our teams in Calow, Chesterfield. We have a full time position available. Shifts will be based on rota and will include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and waking nights.

As a Home Support Worker you will provide high standards of care and support for service users, in line with care and support plans, compliance with CQC regulations and the organisation’s policies and procedures.

You will also provide care and support for service users, encouraging them to do as much as possible for themselves in order to develop and maintain their independence and physical ability. Whilst also ensuring a healthy, safe and clean environment for service users in their home and encouraging their involvement in achieving this.

Location/base:

1 x North (Team 3 covering parts of Derbyshire, and Nottinghamshire),

1 x South (Team 1 covering Northwest Leicestershire and Leicester City)

The role

In this role, you will lead the operational delivery of our asset reinvestment, decarbonisation / energy efficiency and asbestos management programmes and support with the management of the stock condition surveying programme. You will make sure everything we do as a team and organisation is efficient, value‑driven and fully compliant with statutory and regulatory requirements. You’ll be the person who ensures our customers experience a responsive, inclusive and high‑quality service every time.

As our Compliance and Investment Manager, you will motivate, develop and inspire a multidisciplinary team of surveyors and a planner/administrator, building a trust‑based, high‑performance culture. You’ll use your expertise to manage budgets, develop and oversee major programmes of planned maintenance work, interpret key data and risks, and drive ongoing improvement across services, systems and commercial arrangements. Working collaboratively across Property Services, you’ll help shape how we deliver seamless, customer‑focused services that meet current and future needs.

The ideal candidate

We’re looking for someone who brings strong operational asset management and building compliance expertise, and a track record of delivering investment and compliance programmes within a regulated environment. You’ll be commercially aware, an excellent communicator and a confident leader who can engage teams through change, work effectively with partners and provide clear, concise reporting to a range of audiences.
