Finance Assistant (Payments)
Location: Memorial House, Coalville, Leicestershire
Hours: 35 hours per week, working Monday to Friday
Salary: £24,433 - £27,148 per annum (Finance RFJ 1)

The role
We are looking for a Finance Assistant (Payments) to join our busy Payments Team based at our head office in Coalville, Leicestershire. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to progress their career within Finance.
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of all purchase ledger transactions from invoice receipt through to authorisation using our computerised ledger system.
We believe in supporting your professional growth and once you have successfully passed your probationary period, there is the potential to study for an AAT qualification, offering a brilliant opportunity to further develop your finance career.
Key responsibilities:
- Validating supplier invoices using our computerised purchase ledger system.
- Matching invoices to purchase orders.
- Assisting with weekly payment runs.
- Reconciling supplier statements.
- Dealing with invoice and payment queries.
The ideal candidate
The ideal candidate will be educated to a GCSE level or equivalent.
You will have good ICT and communication skills and have the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Problem solving and liaison with internal and external customers is key for this role and you must be a committed team player with the ability and willingness to learn new skills.

The role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Home Support Worker to join our teams in Calow, Chesterfield. We have a full time position available. Shifts will be based on rota and will include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and waking nights.
As a Home Support Worker you will provide high standards of care and support for service users, in line with care and support plans, compliance with CQC regulations and the organisation’s policies and procedures.
You will also provide care and support for service users, encouraging them to do as much as possible for themselves in order to develop and maintain their independence and physical ability. Whilst also ensuring a healthy, safe and clean environment for service users in their home and encouraging their involvement in achieving this.

The Role
As a Roofer within our Internal Maintenance Service Team, you will be responsible for providing a full range of roofing functions to the highest standard for our residents based across the East Midlands. You will carry out roofing works as part of a small team on the Responsive maintenance programme in both occupied and unoccupied priorities. There is an expectation you will be multi-skilled to provide an efficient, customer focused service.
The ideal candidate
You will hold a City and Guilds Level 3 or NVQ qualification relevant to the roofing trade and have broad experience of carrying out Responsive maintenance in both occupied and unoccupied properties.
You will demonstrate commitment to excellent customer service for our customers.
The ability to travel is essential as you will travel to our customers’ homes situated across the East Midlands.
