As a member of Placeshapers, we are committed to delivering positive change in our communities. Social value forms part of our procurement approach, and suppliers may be asked to make social value commitments as part of the tender evaluation process.
Social value in your tender proposal
When tendering for an emh contract, you'll be asked to outline the social value commitments you're willing to deliver as part of the contract.
To help shape your proposal, we recommend that you:

- Donations or contract rebates that support community initiatives.

Delivering your commitments
We want social value commitments to be delivered successfully so that communities can benefit from the opportunities created through our contracts.
If you are awarded a contract, we will work with you to match your commitments with suitable projects and opportunities. Progress will be reviewed through regular contract management meetings.
Measuring and reporting impact
We work with suppliers to monitor the delivery and impact of social value commitments throughout the life of a contract. Social value progress will be discussed during contract management meetings, where appropriate to the scale of the contract and commitment.
Once a project has been completed, we may work with you to share the positive outcomes achieved through the partnership. This may include communications with employees, residents and external audiences through channels such as LinkedIn.
Where suppliers make financial contributions or donations, we will also share information on how those funds have supported our communities and the difference they have made.
